From 1st-9th August, more than 1,000 chess players from across the UK will descend on Coventry, bringing together Britain’s top grandmasters, rising stars and brilliant young prodigies for nine days of intense competition and celebration of the game.
The Championships feature a full programme of tournaments, including age-group events from under-8's all the way through to senior competitons, alongside a range of exciting chess-themed activities and community events.
