Right in the heart of the country, Coventry and its surrounding region is one of the most easily accessible locations in the UK to reach. You can comfortably arrive at any of the local destinations either by car, bus, coach, plane or train. Coventry is only fifty-eight minutes from central London by train and twenty minutes from Birmingham Airport, making Coventry and Warwickshire superbly linked to all the major towns and cities around the country.

Travelling by Air:

Birmingham Airport provides the nearest public passenger terminal for Coventry, providing flights to destinations across the UK and around the world, including Europe, the Middle East and Indian subcontinent.

Birmingham International train station, located at the airport, offers a quick and direct route to Coventry train station, located in Coventry city centre.

Travelling by Train:

Visiting Coventry by train is a breeze, with easy access across the network and regular services to nearby cities and towns. You can travel from London to Coventry in just under an hour, with trains running every 20 minutes, and you can reach Birmingham in just 20 minutes from Coventry.

Travelling by bus:

From Coventry city centre into Leamington, or the University to Birmingham, Coventry has a robust and regular bus service covering an extensive network across the city and beyond into towns and villages, taking you wherever you need to go, seven days a week. Pool Meadow bus station in the city centre is the main departure point, with handy bus stops located throughout.

Travelling by Bike:

Coventry and its neighbouring towns have great access for cyclists, with traffic-free routes and extensive cycle-friendly lanes. Take a look at the Cycle Coventry routes which help you get to places of leisure by bike more easily. The improved traffic-free paths, which feature on some of the routes, are clearly shown on detailed route maps. Bikes are available to hire 24/7 from over 20 docking stations located in the city centre and surrounding areas.

Travelling by Car:

With easy access to the national motorway network, arriving by road could not be easier. The M6, M6 Toll, M40, M42, M5, M69 and the A45/A46 are the major arterial routes out of and into the city of Coventry and regional Warwickshire, as well as linking central Birmingham which is only around 20 minutes by car from the centre of Coventry.
