The boys are back! Take That are returning to Coventry for their massive The Circus Live tour in June 2026. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a first-timer, the energy at the Coventry Building Society (CBS) Arena is going to be electric.

But why just rush in and out for the show? Coventry is a city of reinvention, blending medieval history with modern, vibrant culture. Here is your ultimate guide to making a full weekend of it.

Take That

The Main Event: Dates & Venue

Take That will be performing at the Coventry Building Society Arena on:

  • Thursday, 4th June 2026

  • Friday, 5th June 2026

  • Saturday, 6th June 2026

Special Guests: The Script and Belinda Carlisle are joining the lineup, so make sure you get in early to catch the full show!

Getting Concert-Ready: What to Expect at the Arena

The Coventry Building Society (CBS) Arena is an incredible venue, but like any big stadium show, it helps to be prepared. Here’s the "need-to-know" list for the night:

  • The CBS Arena is a fully cashless venue. This includes all bars, food kiosks, and the official merchandise stands. Make sure you have your card or mobile payment (Apple/Google Pay) ready to go.

  • To keep entry moving quickly, the arena usually operates a "No bags larger than A4" policy. If you can, travel light to breeze through the security checks.

  • If you haven’t already filled up at Elle’s or FarGo, the arena has plenty of options. You’ll find everything from fan favourites like burgers and pizza to specialised Dhillon’s Brewery kiosks for a local craft ale.

  • If you are driving and parking in the on-site car parks (A, B, or C), be aware that there is usually a one-hour pedestrian safety lockdown after the show ends. This means you won't be able to leave the car park immediately. It’s the perfect excuse to hang back, soak up the atmosphere, and let the initial crowds clear!

  • Tickets for the 2026 tour are digital. Download them to your phone’s wallet before you arrive at the gates to avoid any last-minute stress with signal or Wi-Fi

Stay A While: Where to Rest Your Head

Decided you don’t fancy the late-night drive home? Stay in the heart of the action or find a stylish city-centre retreat.

  • DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry Building Society Arena. It’s located inside the stadium. You literally couldn’t be closer to the stage.

  • The Telegraph Hotel. Set in the former headquarters of the city’s newspaper, this boutique hotel offers a chic, mid-century vibe and a great rooftop bar.

  • Ansty Hall. For those seeking a bit of luxury and tranquillity away from the post-concert bustle, this stunning 17th-century manor house is set in 8 acres of landscaped gardens. It’s a short drive from the Arena and offers a sophisticated, peaceful escape.

Bonus: Two Huge Events, One Epic Weekend!

If you’re lucky enough to have tickets for the Friday or Saturday Take That shows, you’ve picked the ultimate weekend to visit.

On Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June 2026, the city centre will be taken over by MotoFest Coventry. This free-to-attend festival is a massive celebration of Coventry's motoring heritage and features:

  • Watch high-octane action and the Autotest Championship right under the famous Ring Road.

  • Hundreds of stunning vintage vehicles will line the streets.

  • Head to the Cathedral Ruins for a special celebration of the iconic Jaguar XJ-40.

  • Expect live music, pop-up bars, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the city centre.

Take That + MotoFest = The Ultimate Coventry Weekender.

Beyond the Arena: What to See & Do

Coventry is compact and easy to explore. If you’re here for the weekend, don’t miss these highlights:

  • Mana Spa & Pampering: Need to unwind before the big night? Head to Mana Spa at The Wave. Inspired by Maori culture, it’s a hidden sanctuary in the city centre where you can enjoy an aromatic room, herbal steam room, and specialised treatments to get you "concert-ready."

  • FarGo Village: Explore Coventry’s "Creative Quarter," an upcycled industrial space filled with independent makers, vintage stores, and quirky craft breweries.

  • Coventry Cathedral: Experience the city's spirit by walking through the haunting medieval ruins, which stand in stunning contrast to the magnificent 1960s modern Cathedral.

  • Charterhouse: One of Coventry's newest "must-see" heritage sites. This Grade I listed 14th-century Carthusian monastery has been beautifully restored and is surrounded by a lush new heritage park - perfect for a peaceful morning stroll before the concert madness begins.

  • Elle’s at Station Square: For the ultimate "pre-party" food experience, head to Elle’s. It’s a vibrant social dining hub featuring six independent kitchens under one roof. Whether you’re craving That Kick's Pan-Asian flavours, authentic South Asian snacks from Chainak, or a "filthy" burger from Fat Fox Kitchen, there’s something for everyone. Plus, their boutique bar serves up incredible handcrafted cocktails to get the celebrations started.

  • Rooftop drinks: Head to the Generators Rooftop Bar at the Telegraph Hotel for a pre-show drink overlooking the city skyline.

Getting Around

  • Train: The Arena Station is right next to the stadium, with regular shuttle services running from Coventry Main Station (which is just an hour from London and 20 minutes from Birmingham).

  • Walk: The city centre is very pedestrian-friendly. You can walk between most major historical sites in under 15 minutes.

Don't just see the show, see the city. We can’t wait to welcome you to Coventry!
