Join artist Tereza Buskova for a unique food workshop in GULP’s intimate dining room. You’ll ease into this festive experience with a welcoming mulled apple juice and pre-baked goodies, before Tereza introduces herself and the workshop.
During the session, you will learn about Czech rituals and make + bake traditional Czech Linzer biscuits – these sweet treats are buttery, short biscuits filled with jam and dusted with vanilla sugar. Delicious and moreish, they are a festive treat in any Czech household.
While your biscuits are baking and cooling you’ll be invited to try some of Tereza’s home-made Vánočka – a sweet braided bread eaten at Christmas time in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Then it’s time to fill your biscuits with jam and dust with sugar, ready to take home and eat (or gift) in its own presentation box. In addition, every participant will receive a gift bag including handmade treats away with them.
**This isn’t just a cookery class, this event is a must for foodies and anyone who is open to learn about cultural traditions through the lens of food in a unique experience**

Within this the workshop will be using natural form and waste materials to explore the themes of sustainability, and our connection with nature. You do not need any prior experience of this process and all materials are provided.
