The most Instagram-worthy food and drink places in Coventry

We all know that these days food and drink is never just about how it tastes. It’s important of course, but something else is nearly as key – how it looks on Instagram.

Whether it’s a picturesque backdrop or a stunning dish to share with your followers, everyone’s always thinking about the ‘gram. Fortunately, you’ve come to the right place because Coventry’s full of plenty of Instagrammable food and drink. From big burgers to cute cocktails, gorgeous interiors or quirky settings, the city is home to an array of cafes, bars and restaurants that will look great on your grid. We’ve rounded up some of them for you to give you a bit of Insta-inspiration.

Instagrammable Interiors (and exterior)

For a completely different feel, head to FarGo Village with its independent food and drink spots, including the recently-opened Cofas Social with its wall slogans and industrial vibe.

While you’re there, you’ll find plenty of food that will make it to your Instagram account, from big burgers at Stripclub Street Food to wraps from the Paneer Wrap Company, pretty pizzas from Dough & Flow and epic cakes and drool-worthy treats from Get Us Baked.

Before you even get to the food, an Instagrammable interior is always a treat and Coventry has plenty of those. Check out the Telegraph Hotel with its photo-worthy roof terrace as well as plenty of snappable remnants of the building’s previous life as the home of a newspaper. Of course, there’s plenty of other Instagram-friendly elements, from the tapas and cocktails to the afternoon tea at the hotel’s restaurant Forme and Chase.

Back in the city centre, The Botanist is always a good one for the ‘gram, along with its impressive cocktails. Also in Cathedral Lanes, the Cosy Club has a camera-friendly interior too, while newcomer Turtle Bay has some fabulous murals, a colourful interior and plenty to keep you snapping away. Just down the road is Metropolis, which opened this year with an art deco makeover guaranteed to impress on Instagram, not to mention the art that adorns the walls. For an impressive sight guaranteed to get you some likes online, you need to head to Dhillons Spire Bar, whose home in the Christchurch spire is beautiful in and of itself, and that’s before you add their beautiful cocktails. For something a bit smaller but just as pretty, head to Selminas on Spon Street with its fun, vibrant decor, or try The Loft in Coundon which sits at the top of the Rialto Plaza complete with vibrant neon scenes and an art deco feel of its own in tribute to the building’s history.
