Storytelling with Father Christmas at St Mary’s Guildhall

Bring the family to celebrate Christmas at St Mary’s Guildhall and enjoy storytelling, gingerbread decorating and seasonal family fun with Father Christmas and his helpers on Saturdays in December.
Join Father Christmas for a seasonal story in the great hall, gingerbread decorating in the medieval kitchen, plus enjoy exploring the specular historical rooms along with a range of children’s crafts at the beautifully festively decorated venue.

Please note that the 10:30am timeslot on the 2nd of December is a relaxed timeslot designed to benefit patrons on the autistic spectrum, make involuntary noises, or anyone looking for a more relaxed atmosphere.

*Please note this is a group experience which will be shared with other families at the event. Each child will have the opportunity for a short meeting with Father Christmas and they will receive a small chocolate selection box gift. (Where possible we will try to accommodate any dietary requirements. Please advise at time of booking and at least 2 weeks before your booked event if your child has any dietary requirements by emailing smgh@noordinaryhospitality.com). All tickets must be booked in advance for all family members wishing to attending. Please note this is a family event and all groups must include at least one child. Failure to arrive at your allocated time may result in non admission. Standard admission, return again tickets, promotional tickets, national rail promotional offers and GO CV and GOC CV+ rates do not apply to this event. Accessibility For everyone to enjoy St Mary’s Guildhall, there is a lift to the first floor and rising platform into the Muniment Room. There is a new spiral staircase to the 2nd floor and where access is not step free, 360 panoramic views of the rooms are available on the digital tour tablets. There are toilets and baby changing facilities on the ground floor located opposite the Cloisters.
