From Suminagashi to Ebru, the main aim of paper marbling is to create a whole pattern on the surface of water using coloured inks, and then transferring the pattern onto paper. You will be shown how to prepare your own papers, and taken through the various stages of this process so you can create your very own beautifully marbled papers.

Afterwards, Lisa will guide you through the process of hand stitching your own pamphlet book filled with white drawing paper, and you will be able to decorate the cover with your marbled paper.
