About

A casual fine dining restaurant in a fantastic medieval building. Their building was constructed in 1450 and first became The Green Dragon Inn in 1500 and it remained a popular Public House for hundreds of years, it’s walls no doubt hearing some of the most scintillating gossip that pervaded through Coventry’s history. However, the most devastating events in it’s history, the Coventry Blitz, had a dramatic affect on the buildings future as the widespread damage meant that the council decided to concentrate it’s remaining historic buildings into one location.

They believe that The Green Dragon in these modern times is a chance for us to learn from the past. They believe in the local produce available to them and in supporting the independent suppliers. They believe that the best of British is actually the best in the world and they believe, just as they did in the 1500s, that knowing your suppliers as well as you know your customers is essential to providing quality service you’ll be remembered for.
