Chris Moyles 90s Hangover

One of the country’s most famous and popular radio DJs is set to bring a special nostalgic event to Coventry.

Chris Moyles will be presenting his 90s Hangover at Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday 9 March.

Moyles, who presents to more than one million people of Radio X every morning, will be playing the biggest tunes and hits from the 1990s – from indie and rock, to pop and dance anthems.

The Saturday night party will see one of the most prominent names in radio broadcasting of the last three decades get on the decks at Coventry Building Society Arena.

He will be delving into this 90s music collection and guests can expect to hear everything from Oasis and Blur, to Fatboy Slim, Steps and Britney.

Moyles’ career has seen him at the heart of the country’s radio and entertainment industry for more than 30 years – where he has worked for the nation’s leading radio stations including Capital FM, BBC Radio 1 and Radio X.

His stint as breakfast show host on Radio 1 is still the longest in the station’s history.

Last year he returned to TV screens as a contestant on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

The 90s Hangover event stems from the pandemic when Moyles took to social media to perform live DJ sets.

The success of the virtual sets have led to Moyles presenting his 90s Hangover in venues across the country – and the show at Coventry Building Society Arena will be the first time the event has been hosted in Coventry.

Chris Moyles 90s Hangover will be held in the Indoor Arena at Coventry Building Society Arena.

Paul Michael, Managing Director at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Chris Moyles to the venue next year for a night of 90s nostalgia.

“The event will be a celebration of an incredible decade of music and a huge party at Coventry Building Society Arena.

“Chris is one of the biggest names in broadcasting of the last 20 years and it’s all set to be as fantastic night in March.”
